Booking a Taghazout surf package comes down to three choices: your dates, your room, and your surf level. You make those, we put the rest under one booking, and you arrive to a week that is already planned. This is how Taghazout surf package booking works with us, step by step, so you can picture the whole trip before you land.
We run four accommodations, our own surf school, the excursions, the coworking space, the scooters and the transfers. One team, one booking. You do not stitch a trip together from five websites. You pick what you want and we hold it together.

Taghazout surf package booking, step by step
Start with your dates, then your package, then your room. That order matters, because the room options and the surf days depend on how long you stay and when you come. Here is the sequence we take every guest through.
1. Pick your arrival and departure dates. Surf packages run from three nights. Stay and Chill and Stay and Work run from two. 2. Choose a ready-made package or say you want to build your own. There are six ready-made packages covering different mixes of surf, activities and board time. 3. Pick your room across our four addresses: a shared dorm, a private double, a studio for two. 4. Set your surf level: beginner or intermediate. We split groups by level, eight people maximum per certified coach. 5. Add anything extra: a scooter, more excursions, coworking days. 6. Confirm. You get one booking that covers the stay, the surf and the fixed weekly activity cycle.
Morocco is busy in these months, so dates go first. The country welcomed 4.3 million tourists in the first quarter of 2026, a 7% increase on the same period a year earlier (Morocco Ministry of Tourism, via ATTA, April 2026). Taghazout is small. The weeks you want fill early, so lock the dates before anything else.
What is in a typical package
A surf package pairs a bed, breakfast and daily surf coaching with a fixed seven day activity programme that runs the same every week of the year. You surf in the morning. You do something Moroccan in the afternoon. That is the shape of the week.
Breakfast is included on direct bookings and on packages. The daily surf is coached, not supervised from the sand: eight people maximum per group, split by level, and the coach is in the water with you. Boards and wetsuits come with the surf.
The afternoons follow our weekly cycle: quad rides, Paradise Valley, the souk, a hammam, the dunes at Timlaline, and more. The cycle is the same whichever week you book, so a Tuesday arrival and a Friday arrival both get the full set over seven days. For the full picture of how a week runs, read our complete guide to the surf camp.
What is not in the package is as clear as what is. Lunch and dinner are on you unless your package says otherwise. The arrival transfer is not included. Flights are not included. We would rather you know that now than find out at checkout.
Choosing your dates, your room and your level
Three decisions shape the trip more than any add-on: when you come, where you sleep, and which surf group you join. Get these right and the rest is detail.
Dates
Taghazout surfs all year, but the swell is bigger and more consistent through the winter months. If you want size and power, aim for the colder part of the year. If you are learning, smaller and friendlier is often better, and the shoulder seasons bring fewer crowds. We break the seasons down in our guide to the best time of year to surf in Taghazout.
Room
Four addresses, one team. A dorm bed suits solo travellers and backpackers who want the long tables and the rooftop. A private double or a studio suits couples who want the door to close. Tell us who you are travelling with and we match the room, subject to what is free on your dates.
Level
You pick beginner or intermediate when you book. Beginners start on the whitewater where sand is slower than water and hurts less. Intermediates work the green waves and the breaks that suit the day. We never put a first-timer in a group chasing a reef. The split keeps everyone in the right place.
Building your own package
You do not have to take a ready-made package. You can build your own, choosing your room, your number of surf days, and which afternoon activities you want from the weekly cycle. This is the route most repeat guests take, because they know what they liked last time.
Say you want five mornings of surf, a scooter for the week, two excursions instead of the full activity set, and a studio for two. We can build that. Say you are here mostly to work and want surf on three mornings only, with coworking the rest: that is Stay and Work, from two nights, and the coworking plus surf combination is built for remote workers who still want to paddle out before the first call.
The custom route is also how groups and families book a crew together under one reference. You send us the shape of the week. We hold the rooms, the surf slots and the activities on the same dates, so nobody in your group ends up in a different place.
Payment, deposits and cancellation
The terms are simple and we state them plainly. Stays and packages can be cancelled free of charge up to seven days before arrival. Services booked on their own, like a single excursion or a scooter day, can be cancelled up to 48 hours before they start.
Flexibility is one of the things travellers care about most when they choose where to book, and we would rather be clear than clever about it. We do not invent surcharges. If a figure depends on your dates and what is free, we tell you that instead of guessing a number here.
Watching a session from the edge with a coffee is also a legitimate activity, and it costs nothing. We mention it because not every morning has to be spent paddling. The week bends to you.
What to confirm before you travel
Confirm your arrival plan, because the arrival transfer is not included. Agadir Al Massira is the nearest airport, and the official airport operator publishes current flight and terminal information if you want to check your route (ONDA, Agadir Al Massira Airport). From five nights on packaged trips, the Complimentary Departure Transfer to Agadir Al Massira Airport or Agadir Bus Station is included for the trip home.
Before you leave, run through this short list.
- Your arrival ride. We do not collect you, so book a taxi or a transfer to Taghazout.
- Your departure. Check whether your stay qualifies for the Complimentary Departure Transfer, which starts at five nights on packaged trips.
- Your surf level. Tell us beginner or intermediate so we put you in the right group.
- Your dietary notes, if breakfast is included and you need something specific.
- Your cancellation window. Seven days for stays and packages, 48 hours for standalone services.
The spot changes, because the ocean changes. We read the forecast each morning and choose from eight breaks within reach, then tell you at breakfast where you are going. We will not promise you a specific wave, a specific room on a specific night, or sun every afternoon. What we promise is a week that is already organised around the surf.
When your dates are clear, pick them and build your trip. That is the whole of it: choose when, choose where you sleep, choose your level, and leave the rest to us.
