Most people who try to work from a surf town end up on a café terrace with one bar of signal, apologising through a video call. We built this because we were those people.

What is actually here

Not a hostel table with a plug nearby. A room designed for work: fixed desks at the right height, ergonomic chairs you can sit in for eight hours, acoustic panelling on the walls, air conditioning that works in August, and lockers so you are not carrying a laptop to the beach.

Two soundproofed booths take the calls, which is what keeps the main room quiet enough to think in. The terrace outside is for the part of the afternoon where you need to not be at a desk.

The honest version

Taghazout is a village of a few thousand people. The internet here is genuinely good and we maintain it, but the national grid occasionally has other ideas — if an outage costs you more than half a working day, we credit that day. That is the deal, and we would rather tell you now than have you discover it on a Tuesday.

What you get in exchange: a two-minute commute, a swell forecast instead of a traffic report, and a December where the air is 22 degrees and you surf before your first meeting.
