The BigBlue rooftop terrace at sunset, guests working and talking above Taghazout bay

Come and work
where people come on holiday.

We are a small team running four addresses, a surf school, a coworking space and a van that leaves at ten. If you like real work, done well, with the ocean four minutes away, read on.

What we usually look for

Nothing here is a permanent advert. Positions open with the season, and the best applications arrive before we publish anything.

Surf coach

Certified, patient, and able to run a group of eight in the water without losing sight of anyone. Languages count more than tricks.

Host

Check-in, the WhatsApp thread, and the evening: dinner tables, the rooftop, introducing the solo traveller to the group. English essential, a third language helps. The person guests remember.

Excursion guide

Paradise Valley, the dunes, the souk, the Kasbah. You know the road, the season and the people we work with. Driving licence and two languages minimum.

Yoga teacher

Daily except Thursday, on the rooftop, mixed levels and mostly beginners with tired shoulders. Certification required, and the patience to adapt to whoever turns up.

Kitchen

Breakfast and packed lunches for up to forty people, every day, on time. Simple food done properly beats ambitious food done late.

Housekeeping

Rooms turned around between a checkout and a checkin, in the middle of a busy day, without cutting corners.

Driver and logistics

Van to the spot in the morning, airport transfers, and the hundred small errands that keep a surf camp running.

Maintenance

Four addresses, a pool, air conditioning and fibre. Something breaks every week and it is rarely the same thing twice. Electrics, plumbing, and the judgement to know what needs a professional.

Security and night duty

Nights and late arrivals. We promise to wait up when a flight is delayed, and that promise is a person. Discreet presence, clear handover in the morning.

Coworking and community

Keeping the room quiet and the fibre up, and knowing every guest by name by day two.

Digital marketing

Instagram, TikTok and the newsletter. Someone who films on Tuesday and posts on Wednesday, not someone who plans a content calendar from a desk. Knowing what a good wave looks like helps.

Photo and video

Every clip on this site was shot on a real excursion. Someone has to be in the water and on the quad to keep it that way. Session photos we can sell to guests are part of the job.

Online sales and reservations

The enquiries that arrive by WhatsApp and email, and turn into bookings. You know the packages well enough to build one on the spot. Written English, and calm with a full inbox.

Revenue and channel manager

Rates, calendars and the OTA channels, with the long-term aim of depending on them less. At ease in a booking engine and in a spreadsheet.

Accounting and administration

Invoicing, suppliers, payroll and the three companies behind the brand. Moroccan accounting practice required; a season in hospitality is a real advantage.

What we offer, honestly

  • A real team, small enough that your work is visible
  • Training on the job, and time in the water on your days off
  • Accommodation possible depending on the position and the season
  • A season that runs long: this is not a two-week summer job
  • Work permits and paperwork handled properly for foreign candidates

What happens next

  1. We read every application, usually within a week.

  3. Then a trial period on site, paid, so that both sides can see.

Your data

Your CV is sent to our email and to nowhere else. It is kept for 24 months, then deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner, at any time, by writing to bigbluesurfcamps@gmail.com. We do not pass it on to anyone.
