A one-bedroom apartment for up to four, in the same secure residence at Taghazout Bay as the Duplex. A master suite with its own bathroom, a living room with two sofa beds, and a balcony over the golf course.
The studio
One floor, a wall of glass at the end of it, and marble underfoot. The bedroom is closed off on its own, the living room and the kitchen share the long side, and the balcony runs the width of both. Air conditioning throughout.
The bedroom
A master suite: the bed is in its own room, behind a door, and the bathroom opens straight off it. That is the one with the bath, a wooden vanity and a mirrored cabinet. Whoever takes the bedroom does not cross the living room at seven in the morning.
The living room
Two sofas, a low table and a wall-mounted television, with the sliding doors onto the balcony. Both sofas are sofa beds, which is what takes the apartment from two guests to four. The second bathroom, the one with the walk-in shower, opens off this room, so the guests on the sofa beds have their own.
The kitchen
A gas hob, an oven, a fridge, a sink and a washing machine. On a week with children, or a month of remote work, that last item matters more than the view. The granite bar seats two for coffee, and the table by the window seats four for dinner.
The balcony
Two wooden chairs and a low table, the golf course below, and the Atlantic behind it. It faces the afternoon sun, which is where people end up between the morning session and dinner.
The pools
Both Bay addresses sit inside the same gated residence at Taghazout Bay: gardens, two pools, parking and a guard on the gate. It is quiet in a way the village is not, and it is where guests travelling with children, or with a month ahead of them, tend to end up.
You are not cut off
Everything social still happens at the hostel: surf sessions, excursions, the rooftop, the long tables at dinner. The difference is that you drop in when you feel like it, then go home to your own door.
Transport between the residence and the village runs with the surf sessions. Surf lessons and scooter rental are bookable on top if you would rather come and go on your own schedule.
